Meera M. Brahmbhatt, M.D., M.S. grew up in Chattanooga, TN. She graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology. She then obtained her Master of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Georgia State University which involved research of the effects of various therapeutics against cancer cells. She then attended medical school at Morehouse School of Medicine and graduated Summa Cum Laude. While in medical school, she received the Integrated Curriculum and Clinical Excellence Awards for having the highest grades in her class.
Dr. Brahmbhatt completed her transitional year internship at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA before beginning her training in dermatology. She then completed her dermatology residency at Emory School of Medicine, where she was selected as chief resident during her final year. After residency, Dr. Brahmbhatt furthered her training at Emory with a fellowship in Dermatopathology. While at Emory, she published her research and case reports in numerous journals and presented at conferences nationwide.
Dr. Brahmbhatt is double board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology in both dermatology and dermatopathology. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Society of Dermatopathology. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages and has interests in medical dermatology and dermatopathology.
Dr. Brahmbhatt enjoys traveling, interior design, and spending time with her family. She is married and has two children.
