Jenise M. Santos, PA-C, is a native of Columbus, Georgia. She attended Columbus State University, where she received a Bachelor of Science as a biology major. After her undergraduate studies, she moved to Augusta to attend Augusta University (formerly Medical College of Georgia), where she obtained her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies. While in graduate school, Jenise was a National Health Service Corps Scholar, served as a class officer, and helped run a free clinic for the Hispanic community of Augusta.
After completing PA school, Jenise decided to move back to her hometown of Columbus, where she worked in several clinical settings, including primary care, obstetrics, and gynecology. During her years working in these specialties, dermatological issues consistently emerged as a recurring interest of hers. She particularly enjoyed diagnosing and treating various skin conditions, as well as performing cutaneous procedures. The sparked interest in dermatology also led her to become certified in administering neurotoxins and dermal fillers.
Jenise finds joy in many things; however, she particularly enjoys exercising, Latin dancing, reading, playing board games, and spending time with her family and many pets. Jenise and her husband participate in both soccer and volleyball recreation leagues.
