Evelina N. Pierce, M.D.

Evelina N. Pierce, M.D. was born and raised in Tula, Russia. She attended Tula State University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Baccalaureate degree in Education. She then moved to the United States and received her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. She graduated Magna Cum Laude, and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society for being in the top of her medical school class. Dr. Pierce then stayed at UAB to complete her dermatology residency, which involved training in pediatric and complex medical adult dermatology, laser and cosmetic procedures, as well as dermatologic surgery.

During medical school, Dr. Pierce entered the United States Air Force and was a member of the reserves for the remainder of medical school and residency. She entered active duty after residency and was stationed in Biloxi, Mississippi, where she provided comprehensive dermatological care to active duty Air Force members, their families, and the veteran community. As a veteran of the USAF, Dr. Pierce especially enjoys being involved in the care of veterans in her community.

Her clinical interests include treatment of skin cancers, as well as acne and rosacea. Dr. Pierce has been published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and has presented at dermatological conferences on a variety of topics. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology (board certified). She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a member of both the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Pierce resides in Dallas, Georgia with her daughter and husband. In her free time, she enjoys playing the piano and spending time with her family.
