I received excellent care during my MOHS surgery/procedure from Dr. Chastain and the entire surgical team at Skin Cancer Specialists, P.C. & Aesthetic Center. Starting with phone coordinator Dee Dee, including all the nurses and assistants who worked with me, right up through being stitched up, everyone there is wonderful and experienced. Unless someone already knew I had a MOHS on my face it's already impossible to tell. There are no scars, and it's been less than a month. I highly recommend Dr. Chastain and the fantastic team members.

Feb 2024 Skin Check with Sarah Riley PA-C “OK” Certainly No Great Experience. Very fixed on getting exam notations to MA THUS Impersonal, Little Eye Contact, Short Answers.
I pointed out 5 Small Painless Scattered Areas of Discoloration on L Shin. Ms Riley PA informed Me No Health Hazard but Laser Txs would be Tx of Choice for Cosmetic Purpose & referred Me to Nichole (PA I Believe) with The Practice Aesthetic Dept.
Went to Nichole Jan 2025. MY Literal Experience from Waiting Rm to leaving Exam Rm lasted 3-5 minutes.
Nichole Called Me Back frm Wtg Rm, got to her, she said “Straight Back, Follow Me”. We Sped back to the Rm. “What are you here for”Me “Discolored areas L Shin”. I began to lift the snug bottom of my pants. Nichole “Just Drop your Pants” I got the pant leg up, She looked at area, “those are not Hemangiomas” Me “I’m an RN but never worked in skin care but Sarah Riley PA said areas Blanche”
Nichole “Well, They have No Idea what we do back here, those are NOT Hemangiomas on ur Leg & a Laser won’t help you”
Me “where do you Suggest I go”.
Nichole “ I don’t know, Maybe Dr Yellin”.
Me “I see him & I’ve already asked him about the areas on My leg, He referred me to a Dermatologist, so I saw Sarah Riley”.
Nichole “well I don’t mean to sound Rude butI don’t know Why you were sent here”
I won’t even go into the Answer I got after asking what could be done Re the large discolored area around a tiny Botched surgical scar on the Rt Shin done by another Dermatologist in another Practice that looks & feels like a 2x2 grafting job.
I pulled My pant legs down and got the Heck out of there!!! Healthcare Has Drastically Changed for the Worse!
Just FYII did get a print out of The Feb 2023 Exam. Sarah Riley’s Feb 2024 Charted Notes referred to Areas on my shin as Painful (have never been painful), due to infection, most likely strep (NO Way) & if doesn’t clear up (?) try NSAIDS. That was NEVER Discussed!

I enjoyed my appointments with Dr. Barnett, but that is about it. Yes, I sent in my concerns first, and the same thing happened again. She was never informed I had an allergic reaction to medicine. I told her at my appointment. I reached out to the office twice. I was overcharged my first visit, I was not informed a precripition was called in that I had to get bloodwork for so I knew it wouldn’t be immediate. I was on it for weeks before I got a call sayig it was ready. I had to wait over. week for a form for follow up bloodwork. I just got my physician to check during my physical. They contacted me saying my bloodwork was fine but I knew that. I sent in my results. I wanted the doctor to know my issue.

Thankfully my horomonal acne has cleared up but I more than likely will not go back for microneedling. Communication and customer service put a damper on my experience.

Not particularly happy. Lost 1/2 day work for nothing. Again. Regular dermatologist didn’t have opening for 3 months. Told me to see anyone that was available in their office. I did that. This doctor basically said without really knowing my hx, etc. etc. - use a small amount of Vaseline on precancerous spots (which, btw, this doctor royally downplayed - but for someone who has had a melanoma, I don’t feel good about such a casual attitude) and come back in six weeks. Took the time to listen but didn’t seem to believe what I was saying - even tho recent hx is well documented in chart - along with photos.

Love Dr. Chastain for Mohs surgery. Love Dr. Jones for full body scans. Very sad they no longer treat the Mohs scar you’re left w afterward. (Yes, I was told they would provide any care necessary for the scar, as long as necessary, at no cost - which is absolutely not
the case. Aside from Dr. Chastain and Dr. Jones as mentioned above, I often leave wondering why I took the time off work.

Worst experience ever!! My 18 year old granddaughter has a horrible rash on her FACE which actually looks somewhat like a burn. The rash is also very painful. She has been seen by her primary care doctor and was recommended to see some specialists to determine exactly what the issue is. She is a full time college student and has been dealing with this issue for 2 or 3 months. She is so self-aware of her facial appearance that she doesn't like to go in public and actually wears a mask sometimes to try and hide it. Finally had an appointment to see Dr. Pierce while she is home on her winter break from college. She and her Mom arrived for the appointment and they REFUSED to see her because they said she had not completed ALL of the paperwork. They would not allow her 5 minutes to complete the paperwork, but they will let you sit in the waiting room and then take you back to the exam room to wait 15-20 minutes (or longer) for the doctor to come in. The front desk was extremely rude and hateful; however, according to the front desk, this refusal was at the direction of Dr. Pierce personally. My granddaughter then went home and was in bed crying all afternoon as she felt completely defeated (unable to return to her part-time job). This is a very traumatic experience for a young girl to not only have this on your FACE but also dealing with the pain from it. Apparently, Dr. Pierce has absolutely no compassion for patients if she gave this direct order to her staff to refuse this patient. I have never posted a review in my life but I wanted to let people know the total lack of concern that Dr. Pierce has for her patients (actually for humanity in general) to do this to an 18 year old that has been waiting for this appointment and praying for some answers to clear up her face. If you want a doctor with compassion or concern for the patients, PLEASE DO NOT EVER ATTEMPT TO SEE DR. PIERCE.

The three stars are only for the staff that actually completed the procedure I had. The staff member who took me in to prep me for it told me one what the procedure would entail and the antibiotic I would NEED to take. She left the room and said she would be back shortly. I waited a bit and then a completely different staff member showed up and took me to a different room where I had the procedure (I am thankful for that team). After leaving, I kept waiting for my pharmacy to call me or let me know the prescription was ready, but didn’t hear from them. I called the derm.’s office to see about the antibiotic and got transferred to two other people and was on hold for 15 mins and I finally hung up. I tried again a few days later and the same darn thing happened. It is so frustrating…I don’t recommend this facility. And I won’t be coming back.

So happy I chose Skin Cancer Specialists for my surgery and care. Dr. Hughes and his staff are truly amazing! Originally was diagnosed in another clinic during my annual skin exam. I was scheduled for the surgery, but after reading reviews and seeing after surgery photos I just couldn’t do it there. Being new to the area and away from my dermatologist was devastating. During my search I read about Dr. Hughes. He is a skilled professional and provides outstanding care for his patients. Called the clinic first thing in the morning. Surgery scheduler got in contact with Dr. Hughes and they were able to do the surgery same day. I was so stressed, but after speaking to my nurse Jessica about the surgery I felt immediate relief. She was so kind and caring. Dr. Hughes came in and sat down next to me. He explained my diagnosis and the procedure, he patiently answered all of my questions. Doctor and nurse were chatting with me during surgery and it was very comforting. Along with aftercare instructions doctor even provided his personal phone number just in case. 6 mo later my scar is barely visible. For my skin exams I see Erin Barnett, PA. She is very knowledgeable and experienced. She never rushes through appointments and very thorough during exams. Highly recommend Skin Cancer Specialist!

I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience at this doctor's office. I scheduled an appointment and took time off work, only to be told upon arrival that I needed a release from a doctor who had referred me two years ago. This was news to me, as I was never informed of this requirement beforehand. After making the effort to be there, I was told I could not be seen until I contacted the other doctor for permission.

When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told she was in a meeting, leaving me with no option to escalate the issue. The staff member, Nakisha, who was assisting me, did not offer any empathy. In fact, she seemed almost indifferent to my frustration, humming and smiling while I was clearly upset. Her behavior felt passive-aggressive, making the situation even worse.

It’s baffling that they would give me an appointment without informing me of these necessary steps. This lack of communication and disregard for my time is completely unacceptable. I’m very disappointed with the service and the way I was treated. I will be looking for a new provider who values patient care and communication.

I had a good experience with SCS. My only complaint was that they didn't communicate well up front, before the surgery. For example, I had a question about what to wear and it was difficult to get to the right person to ask via their phone system. They were a little slow in getting started as the receptionist was not immediately available. After that, all went well and the people their did great work!

If you ever question Sara Riley be prepared to get judged instead of them really explaining their reasoning or offering other alternative methods. They wanted to do the blue light which caused major issues with the last procedure, and when you tell them you don’t want that particular procedure because of all the issues previously, they end up doing absolutely nothing at all..I went to another dermatologist right after and there was other options available that were actually preferred, and explained in detail what was available, especially since there was a really bad reaction from the previous procedures.

I was very tense going to the office for a procedure on my face. All of the people I interacted with were smiling and friendly, relaxing me for the procedure. More importantly, they explained to me what was going to happen and as the procedure was going on, they let me know what was happening. They were concerned that I was not uncomfortable and took care to be sure the area was numb and I was as relaxed while they worked on me. The Dr. gave me his cell # so if there was a problem off hours, I could get in touch with him.
The whole experience, even though I was tense through out, was as comfortable as I could have experienced for what was done.
they told me what would happen and as it happened kept me aware of the process.

Not so great care from front office. Tried to return sunscreen because of chemical ingredients (unopened & not expired) and totally wouldn’t hear of it. When you know better, you do better and I thought when buying their sunscreen at the last appt, it would be good for me. Not so! Read ingredients, people! Good doctors, horrendous administrative tools & help. Their phone system blocks any ability to make an incoming call. Their portal does not allow you to communicate with specific doctors. They seem to have a secondary portal that is only phone based and they direct you to "Clara" some sort of texting tool and all communication is via phone apps when they have an aging patient base more familiar with PC systems than phone based apps. I called early the day before a procedure @ 9am the next day to see if I would be out for an 11am meeting and didn't get a call back. When I came in early to my 9am appointment to get the answer they said they had left me a message before 7:30am while I was in the shower. Then the person doing the procedure told me she could get me out quick by not leaving the cream required on very long when the MD had told me we needed to leave the cream on longer!

I waited longer in the waiting room than the time I actually spent with the doctor. She seemed very rushed and I do not feel like the exam was thorough in the least. I also tuned out when I was told to buy a moisturizing lotion with spf for sunblock and to make sure I applied it every day.

I work from home and many days I don't make it outside so not sure how much of a need that really is. Doctor would have probably altered her canned speech if we had taken a moment to chat.

I wish I would’ve known about SRT facial skin cancer treatment years ago. I’ve been through at least 6 MOHS surgeries to remove basal cell cancers from my face in the past 15 years. They left scars.

I just had 3 treated here with SRT and not only was it cheaper, but there are no scars. Kim and Fair were phenomenal! Kim made sure I knew the exact costs upfront for both the self-pay option, or going through our awful high-deductible health insurance. For some reason, the health insurance option was cheaper and it’s usually the opposite.

I had 17 treatments spread over about 2 months and couldn’t be happier. I just had my post-treatment checkup and Fair said everything looked great to her. I will now choose SRT treatments at Skin Cancer Specialists over MOHS whenever it’s a valid option.

Skin Cancer specialist has been fantastic. After identifying some areas of concern, they did Mohs surgery on my face. Like some other places that I’ve heard about, it was not an assembly line with lots of patience and no time with the doctor. They took their time to get it right, without going too deep. The scheduling was very easy, the receptionist and nurses were very comforting during the whole process.

I recently went back for a follow up, and they were very responsive to my questions and concerns. I would definitely recommend.

Dr. Hughes performed the Mohs procedure to deal with a basal cell carcinoma on my forehead. Although there was a hole "the size of a half dollar," two months later the scar is barely noticeable. A positive that is just as impressive to me as the results of the procedure is Dr. Smith's responding to my updates. He provided his cell phone number, and I have sent him photos of my forehead three times. Each time I sent a photo, he responded with an encouraging comment. Today I sent a photo asking whether I needed to make an appointment because of redness surrounding the area where one of the sutures had been. He responded with a text in a matter of minutes and said they'd need to inject a steroid and he'd have someone reach out to me to schedule the appointment. It's a Sunday afternoon and yet he cared enough to respond in a prompt, knowledgeable, and caring way! I'm so grateful!
Yesterday I was cared for by Fair Franklin. I think she is outstanding! She is pleasant, caring, competent, and efficient! I appreciate the results of her work and enjoy interacting with her!

When I come here it’s good, and they usually get me what I need. But trying to contact them is impossible because they don’t answer if you need a medication refill, they dont call back, and it’s impossible to find an email. I had to go through the patient portal app to write a message to them. I’ve been needing my prescription filled for 2 weeks now and have been consistently trying to reach out but no response. I am breaking out in painful zits on my face, and this wouldn’t be happening if someone who just answer the phone and help. This is absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional.

While the doctor prescribed medication, it was done in such lightening speed, I still don't know what is wrong, how I got whatever I got, how to prevent a future breakouts, etc. And the instructions for the medication were spit at me with that same speed.

I'm sure she knows what she's doing, but maybe she's just not interested in dealing with patients.

I first made my appointment with Mrs Jennifer Jones in May for July and the office called me and told me they needed to move for scheduling reasons. Because I was referred to her I had no problem and happily moved my appointment to August so that I could still see her. I traveled over an hour longer here and yes showed up three minutes late. When I got to the window was asked for my ID and insurance card. Now I of course had my ID but didn't have my insurance card because the last few doctors I've visited would already have my info pulled up with the online forms I filled out before the visit, or would call and let me know what I needed to bring (this didn't happen). So I had to get on the phone and call Blue Cross to try and get them to email me a card, but while I was on hold was called back up to the window and told the first time that I was holding the doctor up (I told them they could take anyone ahead of me and I would wait) the second time she called me up I was just told I would have to reschedule. This was in a 25-minute time frame. Now I take full responsibility for not having my card even though it was never cominacated to me to have one. I am in customer service as and I can tell you you should never assume a person knows what then need to bring or have you need to tell them. I'm writing this to let Mrs Jones know I would've expected a little better professionalism with letting future clients in know what they need and not being so quick to just Reschedule.

My appointment was with Dr. Franklin. I arrived on time and was taken back within 5 minutes. The nurse took the preliminary info and then left me to change into a gown. Dr. Franklin was in within 5 minutes, zapped me with the liquid nitrogen where necessary, checked me over completely and sent me off with an appointment for 3 months to check one spot on my leg. I was out and in my car in 30 minutes. I will continue to have an annual exam to protect from melanoma.

I recently had an experience that I feel compelled to share regarding my skin cancer treatment and the accompanying insurance and billing issues.
I was diagnosed with skin cancer and, unfortunately, I do not have good insurance coverage. Initially, I was informed that I owed $1,463 for my treatment. Despite the significant cost, I arranged to pay the amount, believing that this would cover the necessary procedures.
However, to my dismay, I later discovered that I still owed an additional $500. This came as a shock, as I was previously told that there might be a slight additional charge, not an amount this substantial.
To add to the frustration, I called the billing department three times and left messages with no response. It's incredibly stressful to be dealing with a serious health issue and not have clear communication from the billing department about the total cost.
For anyone going through similar situations, I strongly recommend getting a detailed and final cost estimate before proceeding with any treatment. It’s crucial to ensure you are fully aware of all potential charges to avoid unexpected financial strain.
This experience has been very disheartening, and I hope that by sharing it, others can avoid the same pitfalls.

I was in for a full body check. I was very pleased with Dr Jennifer Jones. She was thorough, respectful and good listener. She did two biopsies of suspicious looking places. I was also well treated by her assistant Elise.
The waiting room is large, not overly crowded with patients, and everyone wore masks and distanced, which I appreciated. Office staff that I encountered were all very nice.
My only negative was I had a long wait in spite of being on time for my appointment.
A year and a half ago I was referred to Dr. Chastain for surgery at this clinic; he removed a basal cell growth on my leg. I received excellent care and guidance, and that's why I wanted to return to this group for my future dermatological needs.

VERY RUDE!
I would give zero stars if I could. Marietta location is awful. Dr. Chastain, the founder of this practice, didn’t even have the decency to return my call and it has now been 7 business days. Two ladies in the front office treated me in an unbelievably disgusting manner. The office manager, Carmen, was on vacation, so I had to wait until she came back to talk to someone about the way I was treated. I even waited two additional days and Carmen never called me back, I had to call her, leave a vm, then she finally got back to me. From the conversation we had, the treatment I received from the two ladies in the front office, and the doctor being too righteous to call back a patient who was in tears because of this treatment … yea, they are awful! If you want mistreated, and I promise you, it will happen eventually, sure then, this is your dermatologist office. Me, I will NEVER go back and will share my experience with everyone I cross paths with. I hope you go out of business.

Customer service has really gone downhill. At my last appointment, there was no one at checkout so I couldn't pay my copay/make a follow-up appointment. I waited a while for someone to show up, then went down to the first floor to do it there, but there was no one at any of the windows there. This was around 9:30 am. I gave up and left. Also getting medical records for another office is very time consuming, so expect to make multiple calls. Medical providers are great and its easy to get an appointment, but I was disappointed in my last aesthetic appointment as I made an appointment for a specific laser, but when I got there was told it was broken. It had been broken for a while and no one called me.

Ok. Let me just gush on Tamika Burks. She’s knowledgeable, professional, and personable. But there’s so much more to her than that. She’s patient and kind. She loves what she does and that transfers over to making you feel like there’s nothing more important than you, your goals, what’s best for your skin, and she makes certain you understand the realistic expectations for each treatment. Taking good care of your skin and/or making changes to it takes time and more than one treatment. It’s a journey. Many people forget that.

Tamika goes to great lengths to make sure each treatment is comfortable and successful. Her results are amazing. I’m going to be moving out of state soon, and I cannot tell you how much I’ll miss her personally. And how sad I’ll be starting all over again to find another Aesthetician. It took me years and thousands of dollars to find The Outstanding Aesthetician Tamika Burks. Fair or not, she will be the yardstick by which all future Aestheticians are measured.

Recently had to have the MOHS procedure at Skin Cancer Specialists. The successfully removed a small cancer from top of my ear. Everything went exceptionally well. Process took 3.5 hours, but included having to take a skin graft to cover the removed skin cancer. Probably had contact with 6-7 staff that day, everyone made me feel completely at ease. I have been back twice for follow up and everything exactly the same, completely professional, friendly staff. Highly recommend Skin Cancer Specialists!

They recommended a laser to burn red spots off of my face. I was extremely nervous about this. They had me fill out paperwork that instructed me to call if I was taking any new medications. I was, so I tried calling, texting, email, app communication, and couldn't get anybody. I'm not just going to show up for a procedure and hope my face isn't messed up forever because of a poor communication system. I had to go down to their office to cancel my appointment. Eventually someone called back and said they got my message about rescheduling, which I never tried to do or leave a message about.
I really needed this procedure.

I felt that Fair was being very thorough in the examination, and she answered all of my questions. She was confident the place on my face (that I couldn't even see) was basal cell carcinoma, but for insurance purposes a biopsy was made, and it was confirmed. Dr. Matthew Hughes performed the Mohs procedure after his nurse, Jessica, explained it all and calmed me. Dr. Hughes described the operation as he was working, and even let my wife observe. I am pleased with the results. I was concerned that there would be a noticeable scar, but it is healing nicely, and I am no longer concerned. I am more than satisfied with Skin Cancer Specialists.

Clean and nice 🙂 came to use their spray tan machine. However, idk if they operate it often. I asked for a dark tan, and the next day I could obviously tell they only gave my light. I bought a Groupon for 3 uses, but when I called back to schedule my second one, the machine was broken, and they don’t know when it will be fixed. Luckily, I was able to get a refund back from Groupon for my other two sprays. I would recommend another location for a spray tan, but the place seems very nice for more medical things!

The aesthetics side of this practice lacks in comparison to the surgery side from scheduling, availability to personality. The aesthetician actually told me that she could fix my face by reversing a treatment I had had previously, which was pretty insulting, because I was happy with those results and seeing her for a different issue. Illusions of their disport clearly is a rip off, and I don’t believe that anybody else knows more about me than I know about me, but she insinuated that her choice for my treatment was best. As it turned out, it wasn’t and I will gladly pay triple the amount of money elsewhere for somebody who listens to what my needs are. There are too many practices to choose from for an aesthetician to be unprofessional and dismiss a patient’s personal knowledge. It is also a growing problem where they dilute the filler and toxins, so that they’re making like a profit and I feel this place did that.

I drive almost 4 hours to come to this office, have been coming for years , however, the phone system is Very disfunctional!! You can’t reach anyone and cannot leave a message!
The billing system is very confusing and what you are charged in the office and your “ copay”
Do not match up with the amount billed to insurance!! Beware because you don’t receive a bill either , you have to research on your own then you find out , through the EOB that there is a balance that you didn’t know about!!!
Not sure it is worth the drive anymore!! Not sure WHAT changed , but the NEW system is broken!!!!

Dr. Chastain is very pleasant and professional and the practice goes out of its way to value your time. I’ve twice had the experience where I was leaving the building before my appointment time. I arrived early and they got me in and out. Love that!

The wait was long but highly worthwhile! Initial meeting with the girl at the front was very very nice as all the ladies there were very nice, especially the nurse Assistants.. The PA - Zachary dela Conte was absolutely knowledgeable, and very professional. I am a retired physician myself, and I know how professional he and his staff was. He was all about business, but yet understanding and sharing similar information about what he had gone through himself - I feel extremely comfortable and I’m looking forward to my next appointment. I really am glad I got referred to the specialist in the centre is really top-notch!

I have been here a few times for a minor wart on foot. In my experience the Pa’s (2 different) that i was assigned to see are always pushy and rushing. I have never been in the room for longer than 10 minutes and half of that is waiting for them to come in. No time for
Questions, explanations or concerns. I was actually told my first visit that the skin care question i had asked while getting plantar wart froze was not listed as a concern so she did not have time to answer (literally asking was suggested sunblock to use).
I have returned hoping to resolve this troublesome wart on my foot by freezing, when it is finally gone i will not return. It frustrates me each visit .

Claudette at SCS is fantastic. I have seen her for Botox injections for over 4 years and have followed her to Marietta from Buckhead. She is extremely knowledgeable about injecting and I completely trust her. She is constantly educating herself so I know she’s up to date on the latest techniques. I trust her implicitly and sit down and just let her do her thing. She’s also so personable making it an extremely fun appointment (tough for me when needles are involved!)!! I cannot recommend her enough! The staff and SCS is also so kind and lovely to see every visit. I see Jennifer Jones on the derm side and she is fantastic. Quick and efficient but also makes you feel heard and comfortable. Great combo in a dermatologist.

My family and I have been coming to Skin Cancer Specialist for about 16 years. We get annual check ups for moles and skin changes and my daughter and I try to go once or twice a month for facial! We usually go to Nicole for our facials, who is so educated in all things skin

Visited this office yesterday as a first time patient and Dr. Brahmbhatt was wonderful! I had gone in for a check on some specific spots on my face that had me concerned and I really appreciated her explanation of what it was along with the information about these specific kinds of marks that I had. Also, she gave me some samples and a Rx to try for acne related issues that I hadn’t thought about.

I appreciate the time she spent with me and would definitely recommend this office to anyone needing a dermatologist!

Love Skin Cancer Specialists Aesthetics. Leah is just lovely. Professional and friendly, very knowledgeable. She just did my second microneedling procedure last week and my skin has vastly improved. I’m 42 and my pore size is smaller, texture is softer and tighter, and wrinkles are not nearly what they were. Pleasantly surprised at how well this treatment works. I honestly can’t wait for my next appointment!

Front Office staff is so pleasant that I was sure this was going to be a great visit. I was taken back to a room minutes after my arrival. I hardly had time to complete my forms.
Talked to the Doctor’s assistant while she updated my forms. She left and returned in a couple minutes with the Doctor. I didn’t even have time to get my phone out of my purse!
The Doctor addressed my problem, did a quick exam and answered my questions.
I asked the Doctor another question regarding removing a mole on my chest. She said she could do that right now. She did! No extra appointments!
Walked out with all my questions answered and my mole frozen off!

My entire experience from the time I walked into the the center until the time I left was amazing! The front office staff was so kind and polite, the nurses that took care of me before and during my surgery made me feel so comfortable. Dr. Chastain explained everything in detail to me about my melanoma removal and was very thorough to make sure he obtained enough to have clear margins and Carolyn did such a fantastic job on my stitches. It has been about 3 weeks since my melanoma removal and I am so pleased with my healing process! I would HIGHLY recommend the Skin Cancer Specialists, P.C.

Being fair skinned and growing up in the tropics in Australia, I’ve had many skin cancers. Since moving to Marietta 12 years ago, Skin Cancer Specialists has been looking after my annual checkup and removing several cancers that have appeared. I’ve had 3 on my face and Dr Mark Chastain is very skilled at excising them and leaving no visible scaring. I can recommend this practice highly. Everyone there is friendly, helpful, professional and provide a very high level of care.

The staff was so nice and professional, but the real star is Dr. Chastain. I was terrified of having Moh’s surgery under my eyebrow and he did a great job. His assistant stitched the incision so that there is hardly any noticeable scar and it’s only been a week since the surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Chastain and his wonderful team!!!

I just wanted to share my most recent experience. I've been a patient of Skin Cancer Specialists for many years. I've had regular screenings because I'm fair skinned and had cysts removed, in the past.

Yesterday, I had a procedure done to remove a lump on my left arm that had been there for some time. Over the last couple months, it started to be painful and to bother me. One of the reasons I'd put it off for so long is that the lump was under a tattoo. Not just any tattoo but my first tattoo and one that has some special and personal meaning to me.

From the moment I entered the office, everyone was very kind, caring and took great lengths to explain the entire procedure to me. Even with that, the procedure was much more involved than I was expecting. Dr. Arthur and his care team made every effort to ensure that I received (what I would call) exceptional care. I was kept informed ever step of the way. There were some laughs during the procedure and I was as comfortable as possible, being the incision is several inches long. Not only all of that, but they went to great lengths to make sure that the lines of my tattoo were matched up and that the damage was as minor as possible.

I just wanted to say thank you to Dr. Arthur, the nurses, techs and everyone involved. The care and kindness I received is a testament to the character of everyone I came into contact with.

Everyone was extremely polite and went above and beyond to make both of them very comfortable. I would recommend Skin Cancer Specialist to anyone looking for a dermatologist! Rhea Douglas, PA-C, is very professional but makes you feel very comfortable. Rhea takes her time with you and explains everything very thoroughly. Rhea had discovered a melanoma on my neck, had it tested and scheduled surgery for me in August. The surgery was an absolute pleasant experience. I had 32 stitches, with virtually no scar. Every staff member that I came in contact with, was very caring, professional and made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. I give 5 stars and two thumbs up to Skin Cancer Specialist. I've been a loyal patient since 2017 and will be for many more years.
